About

Our goal is to support our community by creating a welcoming environment to learn outdoor skills and to create community here on Kumeyaay Land. We believe each individual has a unique background and experience that they bring to QTP. Through our collective lived experiences we encourage individual growth through gentleness and intentional instruction. We understand accessibility to the outdoors is often limited for folx with QTBIPOC identities through systemic oppression. To combat these limitations we offer scholarships to our community members who may need financial assistance to cover cost of an event, rental fees and potential course fees.
To date QTP has hosted over 22 meetups from 2021- Spring of 2022. We have a group of 6 meetup guides, 5 Board members and 7 volunteers that help QTP growing into a community hub of outdoor enthusiasts committed to relationship to the land.
