About
The funds are meant to be used to support NumPy core team members to work on NumPypart-time or full-time. NumPy is a community-driven open source projects, with most of the 20+ core team members and 150+ contributors to each 6-monthly release cycle contributing in their spare time.
This Collective is administered by the NumPy Steering Council, in collaboration with the NumFOCUS 501(c)3 nonprofit. The funds will be spent on priorities that are documented on the project roadmap.
