About
Lakeview Lincoln Park Mutual Aid (LVLPMA) formed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic as a collective effort to acknowledge our communities' strengths and needs in solidarity with one another. We are an all-volunteer, horizontally-organized, grassroots group operating in the Lakeview/Lincoln Park neighborhoods of Chicago. Our goal is to build a supportive community utilizing the principles of mutual aid and exchange to help our neighbors and share resources to facilitate mutual aid efforts throughout the city. This work includes providing food, cash assistance, personal protective equipment, grocery and pharmacy delivery, and other supplies/services to individuals and families in our community, and participating in the greater network of mutual aid work happening in Chicago. We are 100% self-funded and 100% of all donations to LVLPMA will go directly toward continuing our mutual aid initiatives and supporting our neighbors.
