About

Iron Path Farms is a Native led community farm, arts space & learning center on traditional Haudenosaunee territory in occupied NY state. A gathering place to live together and coexist under the blueprints that Haudenosaunee ancestors laid out under the Great Law of Peace. Our intention is to bring together 2LGBQTIA+ (Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Trans, Intersex, Asexual and more) Haudenosaunee, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and our ally communities for peace building, food sovereignty, land rematriation, artistry and skill sharing in a healing space.

There are currently no trans or queer Haudenosaunee led farms in on Turtle Island and very few intentional spaces for Haudenosaunee LGBTQIA to gather as a community. Like many within the LGBTQIA community, most of the safe spaces  where queer and trans Haudenosaunee folks  gather is in a virtual environment. We seek to change that on our land project by making a space to gather around celebration, culture, farming, healing, and art, where we are safer, respected, and celebrated.

We will repair, rebuild, and rematriate this sacred relationship for QTBIPOC communities and our accomplices guided by Haudenosaunee cultural and ecological practices.
