DrupalNJ organizes DrupalCamp New Jersey and the Central NJ Web Developers meetup. 

DrupalCamp New Jersey is an annual, volunteer organized camp, held since 2012. Over the past several years, the camp and local community have evolved greatly due to the impact of the camp and related events throughout the year. Each year hundreds of attendees with varying levels of expertise and areas of interest converge to share their passion for the Drupal project and its community at the camp. The organizers aim for this to be one of the best camps and communities in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States.

The Central NJ Web Developers meetup is for all developers of all experience levels. Each month we talk about topics related to frontend and backend development, as well as the web development community. Some recent topics that are frequently discussed have been JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue), JAMstack (Gatsby, Next, Nuxt), upcoming changes to CSS, improving web performance and accessibility, and content management systems (Drupal, WordPress).

The current meetup evolved from the New Jersey Drupal users group which started in 2011, as we started to talk more and more about other web technologies. Before the pandemic we met in Princeton, NJ. Nowadays we meet over Zoom with the hope of going to a hybrid model in the future.
