Report GA + invitation to a people assembly and a training

happy to share with you the report of our last general assembly! We discussed if we should explore options to accept donations in cryptocurrencies. Here is what we thought about it.
There was a clear tendency towards ‘yes, let’s explore’ but also a lot of very valid concerns. Accessibility, practical and legal issues and taking a sociocratic/democratic decision on this are very important.

One of our collectives 'Citizenspring' is organising a people assembly on 'Bitcoin: system change or climate change'. We invited two great experts on the topic. More info and registration here. (be fast, spots are filling up)

First session of a series of trainings organised by All For Climate, XR Belgium and XR Global Support on 'financing your ideas' Topics covered in this first session:
- How to organise finance and accounting in your collective
- How to start a fundraising journey (for absolute beginners)
- What is fiscal hosting? How can it be useful for your collective?
- What extra support your group can receive from the XR network and A4C?
Goal: give you a concrete idea on how to get started with finance within your collective.
🗣 Interactive session with lots of space for questions and answers.
