About

We, as representatives of MemoryBilia, have been living with various diagnoses of dementia but that has not stopped us from speaking out despite the massive blow to confidence that a diagnosis of dementia brings. Thanks to participation amongst peers in what grew to be an influential working group of people living with dementia on a local, regional, national, and international level.
MemoryBilia wishes to concentrate on Medway, but also work beyond, with the main emphasis being to help you protect our peer's long-term individual futures by making our communities more dementia safe, aware, friendly, accessible & useable for all residents living with a dementia diagnosis.
We want to help you, help others whilst we still can, and make businesses and shops a safer more welcoming place to visit and shop, and spend!
We think of ourselves as dementia pathfinders and activists that work closely with local council, businesses, education and service providers to find more effective ways to make the community more aware and dementia safer.
